If you are using a custom domain with your Tumblr, you need to turn it off so that the import can work. It seems the plugin needs the [name].tumblr.com address to work properly. Hope this helps someone.

Posted 5 months ago #This should be depicted on the description in flashing caps. I lost about 30 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong with the plug-in and was nearly about to delete it before I came here and stumbled upon this post.
Not that my 30 minutes are really that precious but it's so easy to add a warning to the description.
