Permalink translation works, but is in an experimental status. Links will only be translated upon a visit to said page with auto-translation enabled, and yes, they can be edited (look for yellow transparent stuff), however this is experimental as there are some problems that can pop up, mainly with resolving urls back, when there are more than two possible backward translation….

If I understand Transposh at all then what I think is supposed to happen is this: page gets autotranslated, translated pages are cached with relevant permalink added to sitemap (this is a major bonus if it contains the right keywords!) served upon request by user.
Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Hi Glenn,
Pages get auto translated when you enable translate on post publish, however, not all content on a page comes from a post, but also from themes and other stuff, the metas normally are not found in the post directly.
So when a user access said pages, a translation process is triggered that completes remaining items, this might include the permalinks part…
