[resolved] [Plugin: Transposh - translation filter for wordpress] Internal server error (13 posts)

    Hi Ofer,
I'm trying Transposh 0.7 in WP 3.0.4 and all works fine, except when modify translations from front end, because cannot save modifies and an alert shows:

    "Error !!! failed to translate.

    Server's message: Internal Server Error"

I deactivated all other plugins but nothing changes, also set all plugin's files and folders to 777.
    Any idea?
    Thanks in advance

    Hello There,

A url will greatly help me to look at this.

Could be an issue with the ajax handler, something else, needs to see

    Ofer.

Thanks to Ofer problem has been solved, was a my hoster permission fault, nothing related to Transposh, that now works like a charm.
Thanks a lot for your invaluable assistance, Ofer, Transposh works well and by now it's the only reliable system to translate products in Wp-ecommerce, it's a great resource and you are a real professional.

@charonet this error may appear for several reasons, wrong settings of the database (or tables may have been externally deleted) inability to access the ajax script (which happens with some hosting providers settings) or other unknown issues.

Please use the contact us form at our site and provide a url so we'll be able to test it further and let you know.

    Good luck

    Hello again.

Is the subsite a different installation or something to do with multisite (which transposh was not tested with yet) do you see any errors at your php logs?

Please contact us through http://transposh.org/about/ as I don't want you to expose this type of information in public

    Good luck

Hi Ofer and MacItaly. Did you guys come up with a solution for this? I have the same error when trying to save a translation.

@citizenschoice, I can't see the problem since you have disabled auto translation, you need to check your server error logs to discover why you get the 500 error
