   "Link Save" meta box does not appear even though its selected.

   The reason is the default layout is 1 Column on the Add New Link page. If you manually select 2 column under the Screen Options, the Link Save meta box shows up. Without this, you cannot save any links.

   skcsknathan001, I can't reproduce the problem you describe with the information you have provided.

   I have checked and unchecked the "Link Save" metabox and it hides and unhides as I expect, jumping from the 2 col to 1 col admin layout under screen options behaves as expected as well. Could something else be in conflict with your 1 col admin layouts?

   When you first time view the page, the "Link Save" box doesn't show. Then I clicked the Screen Options, and the Number of Columns is not selected. Then when I select 1, then it shows. After that it shows when I switch the column 1 or 2.

   Its ok, I'm ok with this.
