Plugin to allow readers to save posts? (6 posts)

    I have searched for a plugin under every term that makes sense to me, including recipe box, but obviously I don't think like a coder.

    I'm looking for a plugin that will allow readers to register and save posts, in this case recipes, to their own recipe box. It could work like favorites at cheezburger or like recipe boxes at epicurious.com -- which will eventually enable them to use their recipe box contents to make (and buy) a cookbook through Tastebook, as explained here:

    http://www.epicurious.com/services/tastebook

    Can anyone point me to such a plugin please? Or tell me I'm whistling in the wind?

    Many thanks in advance and bon appetit!

    Not sure if there is anything like this at the moment, but perhaps a starting point might be a plugin to allow users to save their favourite posts?

    I had a quick Google, and came across this post introducing a plugin developed in the past 2 weeks called My Favorite Posts that looks quite promising!

    Thanks, mosey. I never thought to check google. I figured every plugin's at /extend. It does look promising and I've bookmarked it.

    Thanks again.

    ive got 2 plugins on my own site that do this -- each one differently.

    LOTS of plugins are not hosted on this domain, btw.

    One I didnt wrote, but fixed:

    One I wrote:

    (this is none working in 2.5.1 unfortunately, and I havent had the time to fix it yet)

    @ellaella, you're welcome! I don't know if every plugin author submits their work to the repository, but sometimes, I find it difficult to find a plugin that I know resides here when I use the standard search.

    @whooami: Thank you for the alternatives! It's good to know that the option to save favourite posts could potentially be open for repeat visitors who aren't registered, as well as having that nice looking admin interface for those who are. :)

    Thank you, whooami, I'll check those out.

    @mosey - I think I'm just too naive. ;)
