TinyMCE Advanced
Plugin Table Addition - Forced to Save (5 posts)

    1) Add the table controls with this plugin (only the table controls in my case, although I do not think it will matter)
    2) Either create a new post or edit an existing post and add a table with these controls, then save and exit
    3) Enter the post again but do not modify anything. Simply click on another element in the dashboard left-hand navigation to leave the post. The post prompts the user to save, as if changes have been made.

I have tested this without the plugin and there was no such prompt.

Has anyone who has implemented TinyMCE Advanced experienced this problem?

The prompt to save comes from the browser and in most cases takes into account even non-significant changes like line breaks, extra spaces, etc.

When TinyMCE loads the content into the iframe some of these changes may happen (again, this is browser dependent) and later trigger the "content has been changed" warning. This may happen with or without TinyMCE Advanced.

    I have the same issue.

Disabling the plugin or removing the table controls suppresses the page has changed prompt.

I wonder if the table functionality is cleaning tags, rewriting tables or doing something else on initialization?

I'm very tempted to start poking around in the code but that may be time consuming so I hope someone else may have a bright idea? :)

My line break and paragraph issues with WordPress usually come about when I am trying to deal with spacing inside of TinyMCE Advanced tables. I would argee that is probably it as simply viewing HTML and back will erase br and p tags. Turning on the option to no remove p and br in TinyMCE Advanced options might help. I haven't tried it against the save changes prompt.
