   the so called function which is supposed to stop removing the
   tags is not working...after i click the visual view of the editor and then switch back to the source one the br tags are replaced...

   Latest version of TinyMCE and WP 2.7.1 seems fine FWIW.

   One enter does not help, but two enters do.
