Hello there,
Your plug-in is exactly what I'm looking for to make an automated carousel on my site. My question is though: is there any way to add a hyperlink to each image so when a person clicks on the image, they can be redirected to another spot on my website?

No I didn't. I ended up using the carousel provided in my theme and added an automated stepping process from Dynamic Drives which solved my problems (after some hours of code alteration).
