   I have a very annoying problem that the version on the WordPress page isn't updating to 1.3. The readme.txt file clearly states Stable tag: 1.3, I have tried everything.

   Anyone have any ideas?

   if you download the file you will see it is v1.3 and even the readme.txt is v1.3, these is a 1.3 folder in tags. but wordpress just won't update the version number.

   turns out I was not updating the version information in the php file as well.
