[Plugin: Thumbnail For Excerpts] Wierd Image Size Problem

    I’ve got a weird problem. Not sure if related to plugin or WordPress settings. I tried adjusting both with no success.

    Thumbnails show for all excerpts as intended except for images that are taller than wider. For some reason, these images actually larger on the excerpt(but not on the full length article) than the original image. Any suggestions? I’m stumped.

    I use Thumbnail for Excerpts Plugin v2.1 and WordPress 3.0. I actually size each image for the post and do not use any resizer plugins.
