Not Installing (7 posts)

I am trying to set up my website so that customers may buy products online. I have been trying to download and install TheCartPress eCommerce Shopping Cart. However, when I attempt to install the plugin, it crashes my site. The site just goes completely blank. To get the site back running, I can go into Filezilla and take the plugin off. But, no shopping. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Hi kknudsen

I'm sorry for the delay. Could you set your wordpress in debug mode (wp-config.php)

Yes, I did that... Here’s what I got:

    TAC (Theme Authenticity Checker)
Notice: add_contextual_help is deprecated since version 3.3! Use get_current_screen()->add_help_tab() instead. in /hsphere/local/home/zionpictures/crystalcreekmedia.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3467

I think those two plugins are the culprits for the debug messages.

Also, when I deactivate those two plugins and try to active TheCartPress, I get this:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class paypal_class in /hsphere/local/home/zionpictures/crystalcreekmedia.com/wp-content/plugins/thecartpress/plugins/PayPal/paypal.class.php on line 93

Any ideas on any of this?? Thank you so much for your help!

    Hi Kathleen,

I'll try to delete the fatal error renaming our paypal class. If you want to test it, please follow these steps:

    1. File thecartpress/plugins/paypal/paypal.class.php, line 93, change:
    "class paypal_class {" for "class tcp_paypal_class {"

    2. File thecartpress/plugins/paypal/TCPPaypal.php, line 139, change:
    "$p = new paypal_class( $test_mode, $logging );" for "$p = new tcp_paypal_class( $test_mode, $logging );"

    Best regards

Thanks so much! I did those steps and this is what I got:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /hsphere/local/home/zionpictures/crystalcreekmedia.com/wp-content/plugins/thecartpress/plugins/PayPal/TCPPayPal.php on line 182

    Thanks!

UPDATE: I reinstalled TheCartPress plugin along with making those changes and I think I'm getting closer! Now I'm getting this message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /hsphere/local/home/zionpictures/crystalcreekmedia.com/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 774

Is that an issue with our web service or with programing?

Thanks again for all your help!

    Kathleen
