It's not just about language. There's tons of other stuff:
    - Tax/ VAT
    - Currency
    - Units
    - Regions, Cities etc for addresses
    - Post code valiadation
    etc

And, of course, the language translations should include things like translations for country names, units, currency, etc. apart from the usual things.

How does CartPress stand on these aspects?

Yes, we are very proud of them:

    * International tax and National tax, by states/provinces.

    * Currency: All the international currencies and currency layout to change the order. This feature is in the core from the first version

    * Units: International units

    * TheCartPress is provide with USA, CANADA and Spain states/provinces/communities but exists an API to add. Take a look to the free plugin to add the states of Australia: http://extend.thecartpress.com/ecommerce-plugins/australian-states/

    * No postcode validation. At this moment we think the shipping methods should validate.

    Best regards

Sounds great. I am liking CartPress more and more.

-Currency: Would be cool to pick exchange rates from xe.com via a nightly cron.

    - Regions/territories/cities: API sounds good. For *normal* users, it would be good if you accept uploading of .csv's

    Hi OC2PS,

    I'll take a look to xe.com.

To develop a plugin to add Regions is very easy, if you need to add one, contact with us. We'll develop it for free. (we'll add it to the extend site and to the wordpress repository)

    Thanks and best regards
