• Hi to everyone.

I just installed the Events Calendar on my site, but it´s seem something wrong. When I go to see any particular event (in the calendar mode, or in the list of events mode) this error prompt me:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/myweb/public_html/exportaciones/wp-content/themes/FactoryWP/functions.php on line 2632

Any knows how to fix this? Thanks!!

  • Have you modified your functions.php file or altered the theme in general? Does this happen if you test on a fresh 2011 themed install, either locally or otherwise? Let me know and I can try to keep looking into this for you.

    Hi roblagatta,

No, I didn´t modificate the functions.php file or altered the theme in general. We onlye add the info for the post or pages. And yes, this is a fresh start on WordPress, and also we don´t have a lot of plugins working on the same time.

As I told you before, I can see the calendar (or the list of events), but when I click for some event in particular (to see the info for that event) it shows that error 🙁

Hi ftucci. Thanks for the follow-up here; apologies for taking a few days to get back to you here. I’m not sure I’ll be able to identify the culprit here since the problem (as evidenced by the error message) not being generated by the plugin. It’s coming from your functions.php file in the theme.

Have you made any progress yourself troubleshooting this since we last exchanged notes?
