The Events Calendar
This plugin does not play nice with Headway Theme (4 posts)

In the Headway Theme visual editor, it is impossible to edit the custom post type pages, the system is not recognizing them. Also the custom post types are NOT inheriting the CSS from the rest of the site and the fonts appear ridiculously small. The padding is missing as well and text hits the sides of the column.

    Thanks rvlawrence,

As you can imagine, there are a whole lot of themes in the world. We are working through the major ones to improve compatibility and headway is on that list. For the meanwhile, the best approach is some css and using custom templates. Make sure you backup before moving to events 2.0 as that is a GIGANTIC update.

Good to hear. Headway is a major theme and it would be awesome if you could get your plugin to work with it. The major conflict is in the way your event posts are set up and how the headway editor lets you modify pages/posts, it basically doesn't recognize your posts at all (maybe because they are sitting inside your plugin), and adds crap to the bottom of the events page (which are unable to be removed). Hard to explain but if you test the theme out, you'll see the mess.

rvlawrence, events are now simply a custom post type, which is the defacto WordPress structure for content. We are not doing anything funky at all. You might want to check with headway on this?
