[resolved] Removes location (address etc) (7 posts)

    Hi there,

Have recently started to use this plugin on one website, and I have some issues. Of some reason it removes the location when I open an event to edit it.

Since I use swedish version, I guess that field names may be useful; Venue and address.

Sometimes Venue is marked red, and sometimes green. But that doesn't matter, it still removes it next time someone tries to edit.

As long as noone has tried to edit, the event seems to store venue and address without any issues. But it's quite frustrating when it's removed all the time.

I've got the same problem using WP 3.3.1 and The Events Calender 2.0.3.

All the entries under "Event Location" and "Event Organiser Details" are re-set to their default values - which in the case of the free version are all blank plus the United States.

Hey guys. There's another thread going on this: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-the-events-calendar-venue-name-not-saving-data-after-apostrophe?replies=42. If you read through that it'll point you in the right direction. Apologies for the inconvenience until the official patch is out here.

Happy to help, folks. Going to mark this "resolved" so if other issues arise, we can keep them going at the other thread.
