Is this something we should have to request? I mean it is basic functionality...

    But +1

What's taking so long? Your loyal subjects need this. :)

They have touched on this topic on codecanyon were they sell the premium version of the plugin. It looks like this feature will not be coming anytime soon. Oh well.

Methinks they aren't working outside the box...

Christ....lol. Give each event a uniqie identifier....

And let it be imported into a new post. Like we do weith eventbrite. It doesn't have to create the post for us...

Unless it could just sticky it on the days it repeats...

I don't think its that hard... Not like they say.

I really need to be able to create a facebook event from wordpress. That would be cooler.

I am dying for an annually-recurring events calendar plugin. PLEASE, I would consider this to be a basic functionality.

i forgot to elaborate on my earlier opinion... sorry about that.
if the reoccurring has an a unique ID then its possible for it to be stored in a table to be selected in later wordpress event posts...

Just let its selection update the date/event time of the original post or let the user select it in a new post he or she creates.

thats how the eventbrite version of this plugin works.

But still the facebook feature is most important to me. that would luanch this plugin to new heights.

Question, how much money would it take to put it on the top of your list? As in, those of us who are so desperate for this feature, if we banded together to add to the fund certain amounts would that help speed up the process? I have a few clients desiring of this functionality and would probably help me support the project financially, but only specifically for this purpose.

Of course they'd/I'd want the premium plugin as well.

    Just a thought, thanks,

    TJ

Please count my vote! I'd love to install this plugin, but recurring events are a must-have for my site (a church) where most of the events are recurring.

I develop websites for churches and recurring events would be huge!

I'm going to throw my 2cents' worth in the mix as well. I'm developing a catalog of training classes, and many of them are on a recurring basis, sometimes monthly. Thanks to whoever suggested the Duplicate Post plugin, but I'd rather not junk up everything with a gazillion dupes of the same thing. But it works!

REPEATING EVENTS!!! YES please! That's the one thing this plugin lacks, I think.

Oh the work it would save! PLEASE can we have repeating events, or even just the ability to give a few dates per event rather than have to make a new event for each week.

I forgot to mention a certain plugin that I have been using in the mean time that is actually pretty amazing. It's called "Duplicate Post" and yes, it does exactly what it indicates.

Right above the 'move to trash' link it creates a 'Copy to a new draft' link. If you have created an event and copy it, it will copy over all the text and settings for that particular event and it works very well.

Just thought I'd throw that out there as a temporary fix to make some lives easier.

Great pluggin. We at VidaOutdoor are enjoying it. But we also miss the "recurring day" functionality. So, here's another +1

    Yes Yes Yes!!
    Really? Is it that hard?
Plenty of other calendars on wordpress that do have this feature.
If it wasnt for the fact that I've already got 900 odd posts created with this plugin and I like the look of this one, I would change.

What would it cost to implement this feature? Mail everyone in this topic for a donation ...

    Has anyone had this problem....

    I'm listing events here
    http://www.skyhorseranch.com/category/events/
and at the bottom of page are two events with the same start date (October 10) but different end dates. I need every post to show the start and end dates, but when two events have the same start date it only shows the dates for one of them.

Anybody know how to get around this?

    -----------------------------------

fixed. i didn't see this argument
    <?php if ( is_new_event_day() ) : ?>

Add my vote for recurring events!

Also, I would love for the widget to allow a choice of a category to display events for - our group has several weekly meetings, and a few special events each month. I would like the "coming events" box on the home page to only list the special events, not all events.
