Hey Trenee. This could be a bug; if so, we’ll get it patched up. But it looks like the code you’d added got stripped out. Can you drop it into the pastebin, as WP suggests, so we can take a look?
Hi,
Here is the pastebin. I hope I’ve done this correctly…
Thank you,
Tiff
Thanks for the heads up, trenee. If I understand the issue correctly, we’ve squashed this (and a number of other error notices) for the 2.0.2 release. Would you be willing to give the update a shot when it comes out, which will be this week, then let me know if the issue persists?
I’d be interested in how this one works out as well. This wasn’t coming up with 3.2.1 It came up today when I updated to 3.3.
Hello,
I seem not to be able to make The Events Calendar and Gantry to work with each other. I’m testing a site on a localhost with XAMPP.
I installed Gantry RocketLauncher for WordPress v 1.23. Works great. I then installed The Events Calendar (default Page Template) and added a couple of events. When I follow the Events URL (I’m using pretty permalinks) the calendar does not show up at all. However, when I change to default Events Template, the calendar shows up, but it breaks the 960 grid and fills in the browser window side to side. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.
Hey Wojtek_SZ. Thanks for the note here; sorry that you’re having issues. Did you review the tri.be thread provided by Gantry above, and found that you’re still having issues even after following the steps outlined therein?
Thanks for the follow up. I did review the tri.be thread above and made the modification as suggested. That fixed the Widget page error. However, the issue of Events Calendar not showing up/breaking the 960 grid persists. Something I did not realize earlier: the Events Calendar page is rendered with Gantry’s Front Page Override, although it does not show up in the Assignments. I would expect the Default Settings be the default for any new pages, posts, etc. Any suggestions? Thank you. Wojtek.
Hey Wojtek. Thanks for the follow-up; glad to hear that (partially) did the trick but bummer to hear it (partially) didn’t. The question you’ve posed most recently here sounds like it may be one the Gantry folks are better equipped at addressing. Have you brought this issue either up to them or in the forums on the Gantry side?
Let me know. Sorry I couldn’t offer up more here.
