The Events Calendar
[plugin The Events Calendar] Not working after WP upgrade to 3.2 (21 posts)

We are having issues with it since the upgrade to wp 3.2.

In the settings for it it has:
    All day event?

When left unchecked (which I would assume means NO this is not an all day event) you can't get to the time picker.

When you do check the box, you can pick a time, but when you save the post it dumps the date and time and won't show up on the calendar.

I had this working fine and then I updated the site.

***Came back to say, it doesn't hold any information from the datepicker down and it simply will not make the post. I know for a fact it did work because pre-update to 3.2 it did work on this site http://www.rastaging7.com/index.php/category/events/upcoming

Yes, I too am having the issue described above. And that means no events in the calendar! They do appear in list view however.

Even when I select a date and time, the 'when' div stays empty.

I used to print to the screen the date of the event, and it is not now.

Not sure what you mean by the "when" div. I don't see one on any of the sites I use the plugin on. Where is it located?

It prints just above the 'event' div.

http://andersoncreekhunting.com/ This is pre 3.2 WP and the old version of the plug in

http://ratest9.com/ This is the new (lacking the WHEN)

    Oh, gotcha.

Not sure why it's not working for you as it does on my sites that utilize it.

I'll have a better opportunity to look into it for you later this evening (at work now).

Any info on the "WHEN" div not printing out the date?

I've got this going on with multiple sites that are using a lightly modified 2010 theme http://www.ratest7.com/

The div is empty, even though I selected a date

    <div class="when"> </div>

(sorry, meant to include this on the post above)

Just upgraded 2 sites to 3.2.1. This plugin is now broken and displays the calendar on almost all pages and categories. Help!

Peanut - have you tried deactivating the calendar plugin, and then any other plugins, and reactivate them all one at a time to see if you have any conflicts?

I don't know how to trouble shoot this, except to say that I've had plugins not play nicely and I've had to give up one or another.

The issue only happens to the sites that we recently upgraded to WordPress 3.2. The other identical sites that have not been upgraded do not have the issue.

Do you have the newest version of this plugin? They did have to go in and change it you know, for it to work on WP 3.2

Not that I had the problem you are having, but when I updated my sites to 3.2 the calendar did stop working correctly.

Best I can say is deactivate it, update it, reactivate and see what you get. :-( I'm sorry - I'm not anywhere near a php guru.

Also, try the above, and then try the standard 2010 theme to rule out your theme as well.
