I am also having an issue with the buttons and dates being misplaced on a template we are using for a studio. The website is: http://www.artandwineontrade.com. The theme is Flare. If I use the Events page template, the top section that drops down is stuck in the down position and the calendar is the full width of the browser. On the page template with the theme, the calendar is set up correctly, but the page title is missing and the buttons and date are misplaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On a side note, I did try the table.php from another discussion on the buttons being misplaced and that did not solve it either.

    Thanks,
    Todd

  • Hey Todd. Thanks for the follow-up here; hadn’t seen your post here when I asked you to do this very task in the other thread 🙂

Mind posting your table.php code here (using pastie.org or something similar) so we can take a look at what you’ve done and see if there are any noticeable issues in the code?

    Here is the table.php.

We’re using the Flare theme for a client project and are experiencing the same issue with the buttons. Would love to see the fix for this.

    Thanks!

Thanks ToddMP (and sixxiron). SInce there are already two users running this particular plugin/theme combo, this seems in everyone’s best interest to get fixed. While this has gotten a bit outside of my technical area of expertise I have asked Jonah from our team to take a look here tomorrow. Thanks for your patience so far.

    Hi guys,

If the table.php patch does not work for you, does switching the Events Template in Events > Settings to the Default Events Template work?

    – Jonah

    Hey,

I am not sure if this has happened before but I have installed the plugin and its showing the calendar fine but now it is not showing the toggle buttons, the calendar month at the top or any of the items in the top header for the calendar that would normally be available. I am using my own custom page template.

Is this because of a css issue?

I have uploaded an example screenshot of what it is showing on my site atm.

It was in default template that the buttons wee misplaced.

ToddMP, is this in relation to my question. Sorry 🙂

    Hey Mark,

It’s probably a CSS issue. Do you see the span element with a class of .tribe-events-calendar-buttons in #tribe-events-calendar-header? If it’s there, then it’s a CSS issue and it’s just not visible on the page…

    – Jonah

the css is fine from what I can see. I am unsure as to why it will not show up at all. I have inspected in dev tools. I have even taken the css file into my own events directory in theme folder and it still does not work?

    Hey Mark,

Do you have a link so I can take a look at your site? Have you tried deactivating all other plugins and/or reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme to see if it’s a plugin or theme issue?

    Thanks,
    Jonah

all sorted now Jonah. Why they would set things not visible is beyond my thought process. It seems very silly? Anyway, a few more grey hairs later and 5 years of my life gone in stress I have got it working….:) Thanks for the nudge!

Sounds like you’re all set here, Mark, which is awesome…thanks for confirming as much. If you need anything else from us down the road just give us a shout and we’ll make it so.

Todd: how about you? Still having issues here? Hadn’t seen a follow-up yet, so I’ll assume so…let me know what else we can do to try and get this squared away for.

Hey Todd, just wanted to follow-up here once more. Please let me know if you object to us marking this RESOLVED. Thanks!
