    Hi!

    Please help me.

    I want a specific page on the calendar.
    So I was referring to below. ↓
    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-the-events-calendar-how-to-add-calendar-to-page

    So, I see「readme.txt」.

    There is, wrote her the following:
    ----------------------------
    If you would like to alter them, create a
    new folder called "events" in your template directory and copy over the
    following files from within the plugin folder (the-events-calendar/views/):

    * gridview.php
    * list.php
    * single.php
    * events-list-load-widget-display.php

    Edit the new files to your hearts content. Please do not edit the one's in the plugin folder as that will cause conflicts when you update the plugin to the latest release.
    ----------------------------
    So I did as above.But I am not able to display a calendar to a specific page.

    「Edit the new files to your hearts content」←I do not know the meaning of this.

    Someone please help me!!

    put this in your gridview.php
    <?php
    /*
    Template Name: Your template name
    */
    ?>

    then
    Add this to the page [events-calendar-page]

    I would suggest you try the PRO version, not cheap, but much improved.
    you can find it at Code Canyon.
    http://codecanyon.net/searches?term=events+calendar+pro&type=files

    I also found a lot of useful information on the PRO site.
    Hope this helps

    Thanks!karenratte.

    But it was not able to be settled.

    What is "Template Name"?
    Is it the "theme name" that I put "events" folder?

    @akiraxx
    no this is to get the gridview.php to show up in the list of templates on the right, so you can choose it as the type of page.

    @akiraxx
    Actually the documentation and things that are lacking in this "freebie" version made me make the leap to the PRO version. Check it out. it is much easier and useful. worth it.

    Does the pro version have a dropdown to select start and end time?

    The free version I installed has the label 'date and time' but only options for date. Is it just me?
