  • Hi funkymonk145,

Hmmm it looks like we did miss adding these to the template for whatever reason. I’ll go ahead and create a ticket to have this added in a future version if it’s not already on the list of things. In the mean you can certainly modify the single event template and add the tags yourself. I can’t explain all the steps but basically to modify the template you make a copy of /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/single.php and place in an ‘events’ folder in your theme. Then you can make any changes you want.

    Cheers,
    Jonah

    Hi Jonah,

Thank you very much for the reply.

I completely understand if it’s impossible to predict, but is there by chance any average turn-around time on tickets being implemented into updates?

We try to avoid modifying plugins as much as possible to avoid things breaking when updates do come along, so any ballpark estimate would help determine if it’s worth holding off for now or going ahead with a temporary fix.

    Thanks again,
    R.J.

    Hi R.J.,

Honestly this likely won’t make it in for some time. We’re getting ready to launch a new version and our resources are pretty tied up with that, and after that there’s a lot of other things on the plate.

You can safely make these changes via template overrides which are described here: http://tri.be/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/ – and make any additions/changes you need to the templates today. Any changes you make in this way won’t be lost when you update. Good luck!
