[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Filter calendars by other categories?

I am looking for some code or the way to link to a calendar view (and subsequent linking to gridview and linkview buttons) such that the calendar can be filtered by additional categories.

In my example:

http://develop.posseproject.ca/index.php/category/events/?$

The calendars show all of the events. But I’d like to filter by an adidtional category, such as “human-rights” so that only Posts with the Categories “Events” AND “Human Rights” selected show in the calendar.

I haven’t been able to figure out a way to do this. Any ideas?
