On further investigation of the problem I find that what I see varies depending on if I am logged in or not.
Hi, I find that the display will not switch from whatever is selected as the default view. If it is set as Calendar, clicking the List tab will have no effect. If I choose List as the default view, clicking on Calendar button has no effect.
I am using Thematic and WP 3.0 beta 1, but the plugin also has the same behavior in 2.9.
I don't see any difference in the behavior whether I am logged in or not.

I am having the same problem, "events list" default view does not work. Only Calendar view works. I dont see a differance on whether someone is logged in or not as Steve suggested.
I really need to have the list view as default- is there any way to change the code to fix this bug?

Hi-
I think I found a solution (well work around I suppose)...
Click on events list to get the url (it is a differant url than the calendar view)- then just attach that url to to the menu item that links to your calendar.
