  • Hey there Matthew. Thanks for reaching out and sorry about the inconvenience you’ve faced so far. What template are you using under Settings -> The Events Calendar? We’ve had a few reports that, with certain themes, the default page template experiences this problem. Can you check it out and switch to the default events template, as needed?

If that doesn’t do the trick, let me know what happens when you manually change the title as per this tutorial: http://tri.be/renaming-the-calendar-to-something-other-than-calendar-of-events/. We’ll do what we can to troubleshoot from there. Thanks for your patience in the interim.

PS: also worth noting, if you want that title gone entirely, you can do it via this tut: http://tri.be/remove-the-calendar-of-events-heading-on-the-events-list-page/.

Rob, I’m using the “Full Width” template because the “Default Events Template” messes up my template’s theme. When I use the “Default Page Template” or the “Full Width Template” all looks good except for the Double “Calendar of Events” title.

I tried renaming the calendar per your link provided but it didn’t seem to work for me. I may not have added the code correctly – am a novice when it comes to code changing. I couldn’t get the remove the calendar heading CSS to work either.

Ah, gotcha. Alright Matthew – no problem. This is one I’m going to need another member of the team to take a look at as I’m a bit stumped; but I’ve gotten the ball rolling on that so you should be expecting a response here shortly. Thanks again for your patience so far.
