Hey
I have a system where I give out a newsletter each term with a web id that our members can search the event for. eg the id is 147 so they would type in our search box and the event with that id came up. I previously achieved this with our old event system by adding it as a tag, but I see this event system only has categories. Is there any way to add tags to the events? Would this be a feature you would look into at all or could someone give me an idea on how to add this in please?

Hi Damien. We definitely have tagging of events in the works for 2.1. In fact, then code is already ready to go...if you wanted to give it a shot (with the understanding that it is technically still beta) I'd be happy to send it your way. Drop me an email, rob at tri.be.

Awesome to hear :) Thanks for confirming as much. For anyone else who encounters this problem: shoot me an email as it sounds like the issue is taken care of in the latest code.
