I’m pushing up version 0.2.2 or 0.2.3 now. It has the localization pot file.

I’ve asked WPML for a copy of their software to test against.

For now, can you let me know if you’re golden or not?

    Hi,
What do you mean by golden?

    Alejandro

    (@comprock)

Golden in this case is English slang for “good to go” or “it works fine”.

hi .. could you check the WPML. ? tell me how I can use your plugin in different languages. For me it works well at least in some home page in subjects that are not multi languages.

I see the new version uses POT file. But for me the most important thing is to translate the evidence shown in front.
Do not translate the administration’s not a big problem. The place where work is in 3 languages

Do you want to translate the “Testimonials” header or the content of the testimonials box?

For the header, redeclaring the text definition for __(‘Testimonials’, ‘testimonials-widget’) will suffice.

For the testimonial content, I would suggest using conditional widgets and tagging o the testimonials for the languages.

If you can provide resources for figuring out how to have multi languages for the testimonial content input on the admin screens, I’ll take a look and see if I can add the capability.

    Hi everyone,

I have the same problem… my site is multilingual EN – SPA -NL and I can only add one testimonial widget in English. Is there a way to display the widget title and content in the correct language? I use WPML

I figured there was something I’d miss when working on the plugin last week.

I’m onto a couple of other projects now and therefore busy for 2-3 more weeks. WPML was kind to let me have a developer license of their software. So when back, I’ll figure out the integration.

The WPML updates are going to happen with the next major version. However, that’s probably 2-3 months away with my current project load.

Okay, release 2.0 is completed and in the wild. Can you please point me to a plugin that you think integrates well with WPML and I’ll see about mimicking the functionality.

Could someone please check out http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/testimonials-widget/trunk and let me know if WPML is working with Testimonials Widget now?
