Hi, I'm not sure this was the initial intention of the plugin, but I would like to know if there's a way to access a full length testimonial.
What I want is to have a widget rotating testimonials, that also allows you to access to each one (full-length)on a separate page, like you would do with a blog entry.
I noticed when I create a testimonial, it doesn't create a link like a regular post entry does. Also if I press the View testimonial button on top, I get the error page.
Thanks for your support and the plugin which is really good.

I'm planning to have better working full testimonial URLs, but not quite yet as I need some user feedback.
How would you indicate to a widget testimonial viewer that there's a longer version to view?

Well, I think a "Read more" tag would be enough. It could work as a post excerpt, so you can have a short text in the widget and then by clicking on the read more tag you could access the full version, like a blog post.
I actually thought it was already possible at first, since your latest version seems to create a parallel version of the post entries in the backend.
That said, I had to switch to the previous less-features version because I kept having this error line at the bottom of my page.
I just realized with the 2.1.2 release that testimonial URLs are working, you just need to Deactivate and Activate the Testimonials Widget plugin to flush the rewrite URLs.
I'm still thinking of a way to nicely link to the fuller testimonial page. It's on the TODO list.
For the excerpt aspect, you can already accomplish that using the char_limit. As such, I'm hesitant to actually enable excerpts unless I get a few more votes for this as well as use cases.

Great! But I'm reluctant on installing the latest version after having to roll-back because I kept getting an error (Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array].......)
Has that been fixed?
Carmdq, the call_user_func_array error went away with release 2.0.2. If you upgrade and still have it, contact me directly via http://typo3vagabond.com/contact-typo3vagabond/ with an admin account for your site to debug immediately.

Seconding the request for a "Read moreā¦" tag. That'd make this a perfect plugin.
This is on the TODO list.
