Teamspeak 3 Widget for WordPress
Bluehost problem (3 posts)

Hi, my site is hosted on Bluehost and I just can't get this plugin to work. It works on another site that is not on Bluehost, so I know that the TS server can be queried.

Is anyone running this plugin on a Bluehost-hosted sited? And, if so, did you have to do anything to make it work. They are telling me I might have to get a static IP and open ports on my web (not TS) host. This will cost extra.

    Thanks.

I haven't used this plugin, but I do know that TeamSpeak requires several specific ports to be open.
I think a dedicated IP is only a couple of dollars a month. You could try it, get the ports open, see if it works, and then just cancel your IP if it doesn't. It seems like it would work though, if it has the proper ports open.

I upgraded and now it's working.

However, if I use "show names only" I get an error:
Error (ID 2568) insufficient client permissions (failed on clientinfo 20916/0x51B4)

Show channel list works though. Odd.

    Thanks.
