I am also having this issue. Has anyone been able to resolve it yet?
Thanks in advance
Can you explain the process you went through to install this plugin, please (did you download it manually, how did you unzip it, did you install through the WP admin interface, did you upload via FTP, etc)?
If you FTP into your server, can you see the templates-admin
sub-folder inside the category-images-ii
subfolder?
I think the problem is that however you installed your plugin, the sub-folders were not properly created. If this is the case, then I’m interested in how you installed the plugin that this happened.
For reference, the files and sub-folders for Category Images II should look like this: https://img.skitch.com/20110913-gtp2myw8rd582mt25rejqfucqp.png
Would the people having issues with the template, and who can see the correct folder structure (as per my screengrab above) please let me know:
Thank you.
Hi Simon
I have installed the plugin on my local machine. Im running a windows 7 machine with apache and php and mysql installed.
the site is running off my localhost.
I can see the templates-admin folder in the plugin folder. I even went into the plugin and put in an absolute url and I still got the error.
Thanks for taking the time to look into this issue 🙂
@jimmysa – So to be clear: the development version of the plugin (linked above) does not solve you problem, but you are running on Windows?
Hi Simon,
I used your development version two posts above on windows.
I have an image upload dialog in the “edit category” dialog now.
Thanks
Had this issue on a localhost development server: Windows with Wampserver installed.
The problem was fixed by using your development version.
Not tried the plugin on a live site.
David
