    What is omitted from the description is...

    Topics: display the 15 most recently active topics
    Replies: display the first 200 replies in every topic
    Forums: limited to 5 forums

    Any topics and replies over the limits are still created and saved, and will be revealed when you upgrade. These limits only apply to the browsing of your forum.

    Talki looks really cool but you guys are definitely not being cool by not revealing the cost of this product before it is installed.

    Sorry, we just added the plugin to the directory less than a week ago and it didn't ask for cost information. (Comparing this to the process of when we added it to the google gadgets directory and it asked us for all this information.)

    We will add this information to our plugin page.

    And to be clear, our pricing structure allows you to use tal.ki as much as you want, we only limit the display to recent posts on free accounts (members can always search for old posts or start new topics).

    I think this is a great service for small to average forum requirements. The forum is fast, very well designed, minimalist and fucntional in all the essential areas. It also integrates cleverly into your theme, both in style and the way it adds so little overheads to your own site server.

    These are important considerations for the avaerage site and I like it. I've just rated it at 5 stars.

    One area I did find a bit scratchy was the 'search'that just hung on a word I know I used in a post.

    Thanks to the developers for a good idea, sqaush the search bug and it's ideal.
