[Plugin: TablePress] Table disappears when filtering :(

    Hi,

    I’m pleased to have found your plugin because it does exactly what I need it to do… or almost. When I apply a filter to the shortcode, the table simply disappears from the page.

    Here’s a sample of the page without filtering applied. You can see that the table displays nicely.

    I followed the instructions for creating the TablePress Extension: Row Filtering plugin, activated it, and used the following shortcode to filter for “Figure Drawing Basics”:

    [table id=1 filter=”figure&&drawing&&basics” /]

    Here’s the result. You can see that the table is simply gone.

    I tried disabling all plugins, and switched to the WP default theme… Nothing fixed the problem. I’m at wits-end here. Can you help? I don’t want to look for another plugin when yours does what I want so elegantly…

    Hi,

    wow, you are fast 🙂 That filtering extension isn’t even online that long 🙂 And there’s not even a link to it yet, so how did you actually find it?! 🙂

    Anyway, the solution is simple. Your Shortcode needs to look like this:

    [table id=1 filter="Figure Drawing Basics" /]

    Ha! Thanks Tobias, that worked!

    I’m a convert from WP-Table-Reloaded… I was using the instructions on your website for that plugin. I’m glad to hear you’ll be supporting the filtering function official for TablePress 🙂

    I’ve just been implementing your shortcodes all over my site, and I just wanted to say thanks again… This plugin is just perfect, and is going to save me a lot of work updating various tables on my website. Thank-you, thank-you!
