    Hi there.

    I have a problem with images inside TablePress that seems to be specific to Firefox. I’m using images of different sizes and then scale them in the code to fit inside the table. For instance:

    <img alt="" src="http://infectzia.net/frank/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/REM.jpeg" height="140" />

    The table looks great in Chrome. But for some reason, the first time I load the page in Firefox, the images load in their original size and after I reload the page, it looks okay. I’m not sure if this is a local problem or if everyone sees it like I do. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Here’s a link to the page that displayed this problem today:

  • Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I could reproduce this once, but now I can’t anymore. Just as in your description, after a reload, everything works fine.

    I have now idea why this happens though. My assumption is that it’s related to the image loading on your site. That seems to be using some JS to load images only once they become visible on the screen.
    Also, you seem to be using some solution to load the images as base64 encoded text in the HTML source.
    I can only suggest to try again after turning this off. TablePress itself does not contain code that should influence this, so I don’t think that TablePress is involved here.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks for your reply, Tobias!

    Now I remember that this problem occurred outside of TablePress too, so it probably has something to do with the theme. I’ll have to do more digging.

    Hi,

    that’s good to hear!
    If you find out that this is related to TablePress after all, I’ll gladly take a look again.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
