T(-) Countdown
[resolved] Graphics disappear, countdown continues as text (7 posts)

    I have a odd problem: after an indeterminate time, the countdown graphics will vanish, and all that is left is vertical text - the count-down does continue tho. When this happens, it occurs in both Firefox and IE.
    Here is an example: http://www.cyrclesystems.com/images/(T-)_missing_graphics.png

    I disabled the plugin, and re-enabled it a couple days later, and the graphics displayed OK for a few hours, then same problem.

    Don't you just love IE. OK, try this:

    Place the following in your header.php file, within the <head> tags:

    <link rel='stylesheet' id='countdown-carbonlite-css-css'  href='http://www.tomhow.com/wp-content/plugins/jquery-t-countdown-widget/css/carbonlite/style.css?ver=1.2' type='text/css' media='all' />

    We have no way to test on IE, as we are morally opposed to this non-standard browser. But it sounds like the style sheet is not loading when placed inline. IF you manually insert the css link in the head, you will be forcing IE to load it and it should remedie what ales you.

    Let us know how it goes!
