Immediately upon updating to version 8.0 my site went into "too many redirects" and halted. I disabled the plug-in via FTP by renaming the plug-in folder as I could not reach the dashboard.
Downloaded version 7.2, extracted onto my site in the plug-in directory, and everything works again.
