[resolved] test emails not being sent (4 posts)

    All other outbaound email from my site works, not sure what to try. I tried to set Subscribe2 to send emails every day at a given time, but it won't save the time, always reverts to 12am. In any case I'm not sure if the test is supposed to go out immediately or if it waits until scedualed. I also have no posts on this site, only pages, so I configured the settings accordingly. Any advise appreciated.

    @deepbevel,

    You seem to be talking about two hints here - Preview emails and digest times.

    Preview emails are supposed to be sent immediately to the currently logged in user. This may fail if that user has entered their email address 'off domain'. By this I mean that the end part of the address is not the same as the blog address, so perhaps a Gmail or hotmail address is being used.

    The digest periods are set by the plugin for quiet times when daily or less frequent notifications are selected. If you want to change the timing more precisely I recommend you try the excellent WP-Crontrol plugin.

    could you explain a bit more about this, I'm confused about how to tell it when to send, I thought "digest" was a reference to any post that gets sent, if not, what is a digest, or digest period?
    It sent the test email fine, but no emails are being sent automatically, I don't know if I have the settings right. I 'm having real trouble finding basic documentation about the plugin.
