    Hi, I have just set-up the latest version of subsribe2 on the latest WP.
    I am getting a list of posts in the dropdown, below the subscribers on the send an email to subscribers screen. Anyone know why or how to fix?

    @studiobabz,

    Are you sure this is a list of posts and not a list of your categories? Because Registered Users can select subscriptions based on individual categories they are displayed on that page to allow you to email sub-groups of subscribers based on their subscriptions settings.

    Thanks for your prompt response, Matty.

    Oh yes, they are categories in the drop down list of subscribers. When i select a subscriber and send a mail, it succeeds, but not when I choose one of the categories. Also, When I go to my profile or the settings for subscribers, there are no categories to check/uncheck. The only options are digest, or unsubscribe from specific authors.

    @studiobabz,

    You must be using Subscribe2 in Digest mode, users cannot select categories when you use the plugin that way and the Mail to subscribers categories won't work - I'll maybe need to look at tidying that up a little.

    Oh, that would be nice. Your plugin has been around a long time, how do you manage to keep supporting without funding? I used it quite well years ago with DDimport, and now in need of a similar system which is clean enough to delegate to editors, to import subscribers, and now preferably to be able to segregate in mailing lists to use . Alot to ask of a free plugin, but me and other folks willing to pay for a premium version.

For now, I suppose I can just subscribe users 1 by 1 to the appropriate category to create pseudo mailing lists?
