    I am using v8 of Subscribe2 and need to import a number users from another mailing list. I want the option "Receive periodic summaries of new posts" set to Yes for all of the imported users. Is this an option?

    I should have added that I've seen this question in outher posts and the answer was to use the Bulk Management at the bottom of subscribers. Unfortunately, that lists all my subscribers but thre are no options to update. Am I missing something?

    @andywt,

    If you imported the users by using the text box at the top of the Subscribe2->Subscribers window then the addresses will have been added as Public Subscribers. These are therefore automatically subscribed and don't have access to that opt in and opt out screen.

    Matt,
    I used a plugin (csv-user-import) to import the users. They are all listed as "registered". Is there some way I can manually up[date te database to activate the email digest option? (i didn't see a column for this in te user table).

    @andywt,

    If you are using version 8.0 then when you go to Subscribe2->Subscribers and filter on 'Registered Users' you should see the email addresses of the people you imported and at the bottom of the screen there should be a section to bulk subscribe these users to the Digest notification - it's a yes or no option to update.

    Matt,
    Sorry for being such a pain. Using that filter does not show the users I added. They are in the list of subscribers and have a "circled R" to the left of them (I am assuming that means registered) but only show up if I chose All Users but then the Bulk Options are not present.

    @andywt,

    If they are showing when you are filtering on "All Users and Subscribers" and they have a (R) next to their name they must be in the list when you select "All Registeres Users" - are they on another page?

    Matt,
    I see the problem. Registered Users includes Registered Subscribers and I was Filtering on All Users instead of All Registered Users.

    Sorry for the trouble.
