Hi! Subscribe2 was working fine on my wordpress blog. But after it was migrated Windows server to Linux early this month, it is not able to notify my subscribers (about 2,500) because my SMTP server allows only 300 messages per hour. Could someone please tell me how to ensure that only 300 messages are sent per hour? This way, in about 9 hours I should be able to send messages to all my subscribers. Please help.

Also, for SMTP configuration, I use WP-Mail-SMTP plugin.

It is kind of a strange place, but on the dashboard go to settings, then to Subscribe2, the under Appearance you can set the maximum email addresses per batch. I have mine set to 25 and have no issues.
@writechoice,
What you are talking about is called choking or throttling. You might want to consider WordPress Mail Queue.

This is a paid plugin. I am looking for a free plugin. Does anyone know about it? Please help.
