    Hi!

    I think it would be very useful if would be possible to specify an email address manually for the “Send Email From” field in settings.

    At present you can select it from post author, administrative email from WP installation, and admin users. But I miss the option to set an email manually (i.e. an email used only for newsletters and not associated to any user).

    I hope the plugin author can consider this for the next version 😉

    @samuel,

    I’ve been asked for this in the past but it makes it far too easy to use Subscribe2 as a spamming tool. Sorry, but this will not be added to the core code.

    Well I think that if a spammer uses a WP installation for that purpose would not have any problem to put his spammer email in his user or WP admin email… I can’t see what’s the point on not to add that feature because of spammers 🙁

    it would be great to get a filtered list by the pull down menu and select by check mark a custom list and to save that list under a name of saved lists and maybe have that list available too on pull down after saved.
