   hi

   I am trying to install StCR to replace STC. I have installed it, I can get to the admin panel at the back end, but I just can't get the tick box to appear so people can subscribe to comments.

   I have tried placing the exact code you mention in instructions in my comments.php file but no matter where I put it I get the following error occurs, just with different line numbers.

   Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/bobinoz/public_html/wp-content/themes/thesis_185/comments.php on line 23

   If I remove the '<' it simply find something else unexpected, like a ? or even the whole line.

   Anyone have any idea how to fix this? As you can see from the error line, I am using thesis.

   Doh! I needed to log out of administration to see the checkbox. All working now and very good it is too.
