   This developer spams the Dashboard, General and other pages of your site begging for money. If other developers were as bad as Dennis Hoppe, all the Admin pages would be filled with these large ads by developers. Boycott this kind of spamming by not using Dennis Hoppe plug-ins or deactiviting the ones you have.

   I would like to know how to boycott free available plugins by not using them?

   (Or maybe do you think the plugin authors get any benefits if someone uses/downloads their plugins?)

   I'm very curious about your explanation. :)

   I have a Dennis Hoppe plugin enabled (author info), and am disturbed to have a donation request on the dashboard, both for me and my logged-in users.

   I am not against - and even welcome - developers asking for donations, but it is bad practice to locate requests here, because if generally accepted, the dashboard would be awash with developer spam. It is (thank goodness) the only example I've seen of this.

   I politely request that Dennis remove this panel.

   Hi Dennis,

   If a donation is made is it possible to turn off/remove the 'make a donation' reminder on the Dashboard? I haven't been able to find any details or info on this.

   Thanks for the update Dennis. Can you give more details on how they dissapear? For example, is there a premium version of the plugin or is there a script to place in functions.php etc?

   It's just not clear what the process is. Thanks.

   The process is fully automated. You do not need to do anything. :)

   I had the same problem with another Dennis Hoppe-plugin a few days ago. I asked plugins@wordpress.org to review the plugin due to the large donation request that cannot be removed on the control panel. They subsequently removed the plugin from WordPress.
   I suggest you do the same with the plugins that annoys you, so that other WordPress users will not be bothered by this bad practice.
