Interestingly – in Firefox 3.6.12 (I have not tried ANY other browser or version) once stout google calendar is activated – any time you click to an admin page – when that page loads – your browser opens up another FF window – in effect Alt-Tabbing to the next available FF window.

It only does this within FF – it does not ‘alt-tab’ to any other program.

Once I deactivate this plugin – the behavior goes away. It can be installed – just not activated.

    Hope that helps some.

    Hi Chris,

I’m running FireFox 3.6.3, Safari 5.0.2, Chrome 8.0 on my Mac and IE 6-8 on my PC and haven’t noticed this behavior. Have you tried another browser/version to see if this still occurs? If so, maybe there is a conflict with another plugin? I’m new to plugin development so any details regarding other plugins, your setup etc that you can provide is appreciated.

Hi Matt – I currently only have two other plugins active – Akismet and Google analytics for wordpress (http://yoast.com/wordpress/analytics/#utm_source=wordpress&utm_medium=plugin&utm_campaign=google-analytics-for-wordpress&utm_content=v407)

I just tried it in IE 8.0.6001 and sure enough it ‘alt-tabbed’ again. It is such a strange behavior 🙂 Also – it happens in any theme as well.

I am stumped but it sure makes for long winded wordpress admin 🙂

No worries on my end – I am just not leaving it on. But I would love to use it.

Thanks for getting back to me Matt.

I too have been having this problem in firefox. Very strange and wasn’t quite sure what was causing it, but i also don’t have any other plug-ins running.

    Hi all,

I just removed some unnecessary JS files from the plugin (related to the colorpicker) and it appears to have fixed this problem. Please give version 1.0.6 a spin.

    Cheers
