[Plugin: Special Recent Posts] Text and Image on same vertical lines

hi there,

Recently the plugin stopped working for us, so I ended up using the advice found in: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/php-error-17?replies=9#post-2874372

to resolve the issue. Now that i have the plugin active and successfully pulling in information, I’m facing a new issue. The thumbnail for each item listed and the title characters do not lne up side-by-side, but rather with the title tag listed below each thumbnail. any recommendations to resolve?
