Hi,
If anyone can help with this urgently that would be great.

I’d like to remove the email field. Tried removing it in emailpetition.php but this results in everyone getting an error that this email address has already been used.

Please help?

The check for whether the email has been used is in /includes/ajax.php around line 34.

Collecting the email address is pretty fundamental to how email petitions work, so altering this may make things behave unexpectedly.

Hi,

Recovered, did you have any success with removing/not validating on the email field?

I’ve had a look around line 34 for the ajax.php file and had a look at this post as well: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/trying-to-capture-only-two-fields-niether-of-them-email but am not having much luck.

Any hints?
