Maybe. I’ll take a look at this in the twenty-eleven theme.

    Any update?

Users can’t sign the petition from mobile device.

I just posted a new update (version 2.0.3) that should make that popup work better on small screens. Tested on iPhone emulator.

Works much better. Thanks for the update, and your time on this.

    Hi,

    I’m running SpeakUp! 2.3 on WP 3.4.2
I have a StudioPress Responsive theme running on the Genesis framework.

I am unable to use the signup form from an iPhone. When the widget is tapped, nothing appears to happen. If one scrolls to the top of the screen (a long scroll with the responsive design), the form appears at the top, but it is cut off.

See here for the site: http://thelastresortlagunitas.org/how-to-help/

    Thanks for your help.

(PS: Kreg, I had sent you an email about this earlier. My apologies for not posting it here first…)

    @mlondon,

The popup form is wider than you’re allowing the screen to be.

I would add some styles to your small screen media query to override the float of the two parts of the popup form. Try overriding the float: left on .dk-speakup-widget-message-wrap and .dk-speakup-widget_form-wrap to float: none. That should make the petition message appear above the form rather than beside it.

Then try overriding the width: 760px on .dk-speakup-widget-popup-wrap to width: 100% so that the whole grey popup box fits your screen.

Play around with those styles a bit and you should be able to make something that works for you.

    Dear Kreg-san

Love your EMAIL PETITIONS PLUGIN. However, there is a problem with the petition overlay (when using the petition as a widget) if the theme is TwentyEleven. That theme uses a rotating image banner at top. If one uses the Email Petition Widget with this Theme, clicking the “Sign Petition” correctly opens your petition overlay, but the theme’s banner image remains on top — and the petition overlay is hidden below the image (not viewable). Any chance you might fix this? To see the problem, visit my site at: http://www.fccj-needs-reform.com/wordpress/

I’ll put a fix for this in a coming release. For now, you can fix the problem following the instructions on this thread.

I just updated my wordpress to ver. 3.5 now when someone tries to sign a petition they get the following error message:
Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in …/wp-content/plugins/speakup-email-petitions/includes/class.petition.php on line 300 and defined in /home/soldier/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 990

How can I fix this error?
