[resolved] CSV Won't Download (4 posts)

    It just opens a blank browser page, and with debugging on there are no SpeakUp errors. It WILL however download if "Only double opt-in signatures (opt-in + confirmed)" is checked, but we need "All Signatures".

    You can try making the following edit to /includes/csv.php... Beginning on line 38, change this:

    header( 'Content-Type: text/octet-stream; charset=UTF-8' );
    header( 'Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="' . $filename . '"' );
    header( 'Pragma: public' );

    to this:

    header( 'Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8' );
    // header( 'Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="' . $filename . '"' );
    // header( 'Pragma: public' );

    That should make the contents of your CSV display as plain text in your browser. You can then select File -> Save Page As from the browser menu and save the page as mypetition.csv

    Hope that works for you. The alternative is doing an export of the wp_dk_speakup_signatures database table to CSV from PHPMyAdmin.

    Which browser/OS combo are you using?

    Just tried that, still got the blank screen (unless I first chose the double-opt again).

    The export sounds promising, though I don't know quite how.

    I've tried it using Safari, Firefox and Chrome, all on OS X.

    Fyi, I was able to export to CSV using PHPMyAdmin.
