This latest “update” broke the security question functionality. Jumped through the license key hoops and still the same problem.

Never thought I would disable and uninstall Spam Free WP, but I did. Too much hassle to work with now, and I cobbled together some other plugins that give the same basic functionality as the original Spam Free.

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish here, but it doesn’t work for me.

Why haven’t you asked for help at http://www.toddlahman.com/forums/forum/spam-free-wordpress/? I can’t help you if you don’t ask. I do get offended when someone gives my plugin a 1 star vote without asking for help first.

If you do ask for help, you’ll need to tell me more than it “broke the security question functionality.” I don’t know what you mean by that, and I can’t look at your blog to know what is wrong.

I will mark this as resolved since I expect to see you at http://www.toddlahman.com/forums/forum/spam-free-wordpress/ as it says here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-spam-free-wordpress-read-this-first?replies=1

Ah, yes, the “support” page that gives a “Not Found, Error 404” Very helpful, that–for adding to frustration of having a formerly functioning plugin that is now broken due to an “update.”

And were you paying attention to other complaints on your own website, you would be aware of: “When I am logged in to my word-press account i can post comments. But when I logged out and try to test comment I get an error ‘Spam Free WordPress rejected your comment because you did not enter the correct password or it was empty.’ “

To which you replied, “Support is only provided in the support forum:

    http://www.toddlahman.com/forums/forum/spam-free-wordpress/”

Replied, I might add, that one must be registered/logged into your site to view the page in question.

You have erected far too many hoops to jump through in order to make this “update” work.

Until you (a) fix all the bugs and (b) make getting a simple question answered less of a hassle, I suspect I will not be the last to give this new version a 1-star rating.
