   Hello,
   I will try to explain my case, despite my English is not so good, sorry for that.
   Since one week I am receiving a lot of spams in the comments of my blog (http://french.didierlahely.com/vitaminD/) from "control de flotas" see a screen copy here: http://skit.ch/nnda .
   And I don't know how/what to do to avoid them. Not the same IP address. It's about 50 spams a day.
   These are some IPs: 108.62.101.173 - 108.62.101.201 - 128.204.197.101 - etc.

   Could you help me please? I also need help to correctly configure the Spam Free WordPress plugin.

   When I view your comment form I do not see a password field from Spam Free WordPress, which means your comment form is not setup properly to work with the plugin, and anyone entering a comment will see an error message.

   I submitted a test comment, and got the error message, which means the plugin is installed and active, so the spam is not comment spam it is pingback and trackback spam.

   First we will fix the comment form. Post all the code from your comments.php file at http://pastebin.com/, then post a link to that pastebin code here. I will reply with a pastbin link that will contain the modified code you can use to replace your existing comments.php code.

   Next, go to http://www.toddlahman.com/spam-free-wordpress/ and read the section labeled Pingbacks and Trackbacks and follow those directions, and download and install the Pingback and Trackback plugin to close all Pingbacks and Trackbacks.

   Spam Free WordPress stops comment spam, not Pingback and Trackback spam, which look identical.

   1. Make a backup copy of your comments.php file
   2. Go to this link, http://pastebin.com/mpWBDHYt, and use the code in the "RAW Paste Data" section to replace all the code in the comments.php file.

   Next, go to http://www.toddlahman.com/spam-free-wordpress/ and read the section labeled Pingbacks and Trackbacks and follow those directions, and download and install the Pingback and Trackback plugin to close all Pingbacks and Trackbacks.

   Thanks a lot for your support Todd, it's like it 's Christmas before time..! Posting comments are working fine now, I have followed your advices and installed the Pingback and Trackback plugin.

   Hi Todd, I am a bit confused with this spam comment
   1. How do I know its spam or not?
   2. If it spam should I delete it or just leave in the spam comment list?

   Since you are not even using Spam Free WordPress, and cannot because your blog is not self hosted, then why are you asking for help here and not asking wordpress.com?
