I'm using this plugin, it works really fine, in around a month this is the ammount of spam blocked:7,388
But, only as info for the developer, some spamers are able to bypass it and still sendig rubish spam comments, can't understand how they are able to do it, but they can, if you want to check, don't hesitate to cntact me.

One anti-spam plugin by itself is rarely 100% effective. Have you tried running a different kind of anti-spam plugin in tandem with this one? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cookies-for-comments/ for example.

You are seeing pingback spam, not comment spam. To fix this go to Settings >> Spam Free WordPress, in the Pingbacks and Trackbacks section select "Closed," then Save Changes.
Support requests on the WordPress.org forum will no longer be answered. All requests for support should be made at the Spam Free WordPress homepage, especially since some people answer a question here who are not familiar with how the plugin works, and have never tried it.
