[Plugin: SP Courseware] Need a plugin that does certain things

    Hi,
    I am looking for a plugin that will let me set assignments for students that will either be text entry or completing a spreadsheet. These assignements will be part of a membership site so not available to everyone. Each student will need to be able to see their own work and no one elses and to be able to go back and amend if necessary.
    From reading all I can find about this plugin I am unclear as to whether it can do what I want or not.
    Can anyone enlighten me.

    Hi Mike,

    ScholarPress Courseware doesn’t do any assignments out of the box. You can create the assignments in whatever form or service you’d like, and simply describe or associate that assignment in Courseware to a particular date.

    For example, your text entry assignment could be on the blog itself, on your students individual blogs, or if you have a form set up somewhere that only students could access. Likewise for the spreadsheet. I suspect it woudln’t be too hard to set up a spreadsheet in Google Docs or Zoho to do those assignments.

    If you want to block your schedule page, or any page really, to members of your site, you can do that by password-protecting the page through WordPress (a feature in WP, not in the courseware plugin), or have your students or whoever register user accounts on your site.
